Extreme

Though it has been over a month since my last post I am carrying on right from the point I left off. To warm you up I have a few things you've got to see IMMEDIATELY:

1.
our dreams are coming true-if only these air powered vehicles could FLY too!

This air powered vehicle has a 91 litre tank that takes 3 minutes to refill and can run for about 10 hours at about $1 US Dollars per 62 miles. If that doesn't make you say WOW out-loud I don't know what will.

2. If you like to be creative and/or crafty and need to surround yourself with others that feel similarly OR if you need some inspiration for homemade gifts and home decor solutions, check out CRAFTSTER.ORG These crafts aren't all about making country-kitchen doo-dads or anything that looks like a duck or an apple or... You get the point. These craftsters are all about crafts that are irreverent, ironic, kitschy, or cleverly eco-friendly.

p.s. if anyone on blogger can tell me how to upload GIFs using Hello I will pay you 5 US dollars to explain or demonstrate the process.

ok moving right along....
with a wee-anecdote:
I had, on two previous occasions, written some amazing and profound blog entries, god knows what they were about but I'm telling you, you missed out.

But anyways, happy 2005. What will this year bring for me? Hopefully a diploma and possibly a relocation of residency. Who wants to move to the mountains with me? I can cook and clean quite well when it's absolutely necessary! Plus, I'm obsessed with an average of 13 new things every week, so I'll keep you guessing.

Speaking of....I have a new favorite musical group--if you are in the Austin area and can get to Lucky Lounge (my new favorite bar) on a Tuesday night; go see BOOMBOX. That is, if you have any interest in Jazz, Hip-Hop, and the incredibly amazing fusion between the two. There is a little white guy named John Pointer who is the "lead-mc", probably because of his appearance in the Chili's commercial as a human beat-box. But it's the lyrical stylings of 3 others, mixed with the keyboardist who looks like he's straight outta Compton, a trombone, a sax, and two drummers who make boombox the best tuesday night out for free cover that I could ever comprehend into existence. Hyperbole? No. I'm not one to exxaggerate. ;)

Which brings me to COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL.

coachella 2004 poster

2004 had a great lineup and it seems that from recent speculation and information leaks that 2005 will be even better; at least in my opinion:
included on the speculative list are DAVID BOWIE, COLDPLAY, THE POSTAL SERVICE, and MOS DEF...4 of my absolute favorites so needless to say, I'll be there! check out coachella.com for updates and information. If you want to go and need a friend, let me know.

I think I may have just put all of you on INFORMATION overload so I end this torture NOW with a quote from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle: "EXTREEEEEEEEEME!!!"
ha.
