Don't we all have foods on our list that we like now that we hated as children?
Or books that the first time you read them was in middle school or highschool and you apparently couldn't comprehend the real-life concepts, but after re-reading them later in life you truly appreciate how great they are?
I'm starting a list of these things that I've re-examined with a "mature" eye for what is great that once wasn't so great.
GUINNESS
dark and tasty
I went to Ireland at a wee-age of 16 and had my first Guinness. I hated all beer then so logic would tell you that I also hated Guinness.
I like it now. You know why?
It has far less calories than one might guess. 115 or so per pint. AMAZING. and it doesn't taste like sludge. it is rather tasty. let's all go drink some guinness and get pissed.
That's my first entry on this subject. I must end it now cuz I'm bored of it already.
Later my friends.
